Day 17 Havre, Montana-Malta, Montana (90 miles)

While I was waiting for Bonnie in Dodson to let her know there was ice and water for her that the team had purchased (the little store closed from 1 to 4 PM), mosquitos were attacking me so I ran for a place of safety and it turned out to be the Post Office. There I had an amazing conversation with Iris who later helped me get my cell phone back. She said that in Dodson the total high school population was of 16 students; this past May only 2 students graduated from HS.
