Day 30: Walker, Minnesota-Baxter, Minnesota (75 miles)

I met Shanta in an ice cream shop. She was really kind and we had an amazing conversation. She shared with me that she would love to make a backpacker trip to Australia. She finished high school a year ago and college is holding her back from her dream. Before I left she assured me she will keep me posted about her trip.

Wonderful ride on the bike trails. I loved how every 10 miles or so one would find a small town to eat and rest. I kept wondering how the world would be if cars and by that I seek a balance, and bicyles could coexist. A road and a bike path makes a driver and a cyclist happy!

I also came across the wonderful idea shared by Andy Stanley in his weekly podcast: "It is easier to make a point than it is to make a difference".

I met Anna and Adelinne who were biking on the trails. When I shared the 5 Rules with them one of them said: "At our age retaining mobility means being able to walk". I had never really thought of it that way.
