Day 33: Rest day in Rutledge, Minnesota (at Karen's brother's home)

This morning Karen's mother and stepfather lleft town to drive back home. Before Chuck (82) left he told me: "You have taught me a lot; although I'm old I'm still learning". I don't know exactly what he meant of what I could have possibly taught him but surely felt honored by his words. They made my day.

At the little bar where we went to use their Wi-Fi, I ordered some nachos but initially had thought of ordering a burger. The lady who apparently was the owner was curious and asked me if I had changed my mind. I told her that since I'm in a tight budget I though it wasn't time for a $6.00 burger. A few minutes later she said my burger was being prepared and it was on the house.
