Bike ride was fun because I took my time, took pictures, and took time to medidate. At first we were supposed to ride for 50 miles, then the team decided to ride about another 50. I decided to call it a day in order to avoid forcing my knees. We met a group of young ciclysts raising money to help veterans. Their support van had a sign that read: "Riding for charity". It really got me thinking about the reasons behind doing this to raise money. I'm confused about that. Also this day I started feeling uncomfortable with the routine a trip like this carries. I'm really meditating about this...(Rule 4: Limit Activities)
I told the waitress in this restaurant that Im a good tipper but in a trip like this every pennie counts so I said: "all I can say is thank you". It was so refreshing to be able to be honest and say that.
I also thought about the phrase on RV (picture)the guy who is riding 16,000 miles; if you need help, ask; if you can help, help.
