Day 20: Ray, North Dakota-Stanley, North Dakota (35 miles)

I met Connor and Keith. They were cousins and we talked about how their moto of this trip is to learn and enjoy the journey. They were one of the few bikers I've encountered that seem to have made the "journey" the most important part of the trip. They told me they didn't really cared about the millage as much as they did about the experience and meeting people along the way, They shared this one experience they had in a bar where they met a guy who worked for the train system. The guy bought them a beer and told them that were it not for the fact that he was off in that particular week, he would have invited them to ride on the train (front wagon) with him. Connor and Keith said they would have ridden the train even if that would have meant riding less miles. Keith said: "If we knew everything and were pro riders and stuff and didn't have to learn anything from anybody, then this would be -just a trip-"

When I shared with them my concern over not being able to bike every mile Keith said: "You have ridden 800 miles more than before you started this trip"
